Without the luxury of a massive advertising budget, Lynher have succeeded in getting their products not only into specialist cheese shops but also onto the deli counters of most of the supermarket majors. In doing so, they've made the most of Yarg's appealing "story", in which its Cornish origins play an essential part. They've also ensured the quality of their products by sourcing premium milk from selected Cornish farms and using the most advanced equipment in their dairies.

In response to surging demand, Lynher recently opened a new state-of the-art unit that will allow them to more than double production to 300 tonnes a year. They were enabled to do this with the help of funding from Objective One and DEFRA.
