John Perry, our regular speaker on the seminar series, is one of the UK's leading health psychologists. Recently he made a very poignant remark:
"It's now widely accepted that an individuals Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a better predictor of future success and happiness than is their IQ!"
We are proud to present a hotly anticipated seminar on EQ.
Richard Smale is a highly experienced life coach and counsellor and is the originator and developer of 'From IQ to EQ'. Richard comes on high recommendation from John Perry, with whom you will be familiar.
This will be part one of a two part series and is expected to be one of the most controversial seminars of the year.
Learn:
- What is EQ and why is it deemed more significant by leading health psychologists than IQ
- About your personal self esteem checklist
- To understand how emotional situations are handled in your world
- Which part of your brain can intercept information, which is the logical part of the brain
- Triggers for emotional actions
- Core EQ skills
"Emotional Intelligence in a very big way is about being socially adept, even sophisticated, whether at work or play....the brains of emotionally intelligent people are less likey to become dominated by emotional impulses" - Richard Smale
