Cornwall is rapidly becoming known as the 'Green Peninsular'. At a time when climate change and pollution are leading to far stricter environmental standards and efficiencies, there is a growing and diverse market for environmental technology which has already attracted a fast growing cluster of innovative new environmental businesses to the county - over 160 at the last count, working in the production, design and distribution of new technologies. It is also soon to be home to the Wave Hub - the world's first wave energy farm off the coast of Cornwall. Cornwall's seas, skies and landscape provide a huge abundance of renewable and sustainable energy, while a wealth of technical expertise and dedicated business support is in place to help established and start up companies succeed.
